Chin Chin recipe 1lb plain/ self raising flour 16 tablespoons sugar 2 eggs 2 teaspoons baking powder 2 Oz butter 8tb spoons water/milk 1 teaspoon nutmeg If using self raising flour then you do not need the baking powder. In bowl place flour , baking powder, butter, nutmeg and mix. Melt the sugar with the eggs and water/milk and gradually add to the flour mix in the bowl. Knead gently to a smooth dough (if the mix is still too stiff, add a little bit of milk. Gently heat a deep pan/pot with oil on the cooker, if frying. On a floured surface, roll the dough out flat and cut to desired bitesize shapes and fry until golden. Drain the chin chin on some kitchen towel to drain excess oil.
